Presales Question: Can I add an additional field to capture more info?

I like the ajax register product but I need to add an additional field which can capture a company name. Can this be done? and if so how easy would it be?

AJAX Register is only a replacement for regular Joomla registration interface.

To add fields you would need to extend the Joomla database table, change registration, user frontend component and administration as well so you can edit the new fields. So no, you can't do this with just AJAX Register.
