I have everything working with the AJAX Scroller on my site, except that I am using an <a href> tag around the Article Intro Picture to link the thumbnail back to the Article page.
However sometimes when i click a thumbnail, i get an unknown page (404 Error) because of the way the AJAX Scroller is affecting those links.
They start out as "/Product Section/Product Catagory/Product", but once the scoller shows a new product, the link now says "/Product Section/Product Catagory/New Product Section/Product Catagory/Product", and this can even build up to become quite a long link.
If you would like to see for yourself, the website is <my url>
choose "KnifeGallery" or "LeatherCraft" from the top bar links, then at the bottom of the resulting page is a "Featured Items" module area (the AJAX Scroller). Click one of the products, if it works - then on the resulting page, scroll down to the AJAX Scroller again. Roll over one of the links and you will see the added linkage.
Any thoughts on the solution?
Thank you for what so far has been an excellent product!

Hi,
Try using absolute URLs instead of relative. It's possible that SEF plugin responsible for converting the links to absolute doesn't affect the dynamically loaded slides.

Didnt work - i changed the link for one of the products to absolute(using sef), emptied the cache, reloaded the page and did the same technique as described above. the double linking is still occuring
Any other thoughts? I really dont want to turn off SEF, especially as I dont know for sure that this will fix it.
I also just realized why my site's transfer quote has gone through the roof - I'm talking like 800mb for the month. I'm guessing that as the images i have in the intro's of the article are full size, and then scaled down for the display of the "featured products" module - the AJAX scroller has to send all those pics to the user full-sized, and then browser scaled down to the module specs... is this correct?

Hi,
Then best to send me the URL, admin password and FTP info and I will take a look.
Yes, it's correct, for loaded slides it loads full-size pictures.

I think i'm just going to choke down the amount of content i'm loading into the plugin - only put one series in - this way it shouldn't be changing the links. if that fails I will send you the info requested for you to take a look.
