AJAX Photo Album — Cannot Customize Template

I edited the photo_view.html template by moving the {NAME} tag below the {IMAGE} tag and deleting the {DATE} tag, but the changes have no effect on the frontend. Everything is still showing as the original template.

I made the edits via the web admin, but I also checked the files on my server and they are indeed changed correctly. Is there something else I need to do in order to make template customization work?
