When I have over 3 articles, their text becomes garbled, missing

I have my scroller set up to display the title, text, and image for each article.

When I have 3 articles in the category that feeds the scroller, the title, text, and image for each article scrolls correctly.

But when I add further articles, there's a problem:

The titles and images continue to scroll correctly, but the text from articles 3 and 4 display at the same time (overlapping) in article 3. When article 4 comes up, its title and image are also correct, but its text is missing (having already gone by in with article 3).

As I continue to add more articles, the same thing happens: article 3 displays overlapping sets of text, and the text is missing from other articles.

Sometimes if I use the navigation buttons, the text appears and disappears suddenly.

Is this a bug? Is there a solution?

That's probably a problem with your CSS styling. You will have to post a link to an example so I can see what's wrong.

The site I'm working on is still confidential -- is there somewhere private I can send the login info to you?

Update: I tried to send it to you, but in my Sent Messages, it says that an error has occurred and that I'm not allowed to send personal messages.

Another update: it looks like it might be a browser compatibility problem? It's running fine with 4 items in Firefox, Explorer, and Opera, but having the issue in Safari and Chrome.
