Ajax register custom fields

Does the ajax register component have the ability for a custom field of allowing a user to upload a profile picture?

Even if it would have where would you show that picture? It doesn't have a frontend profile page.

But a field for allowing attachments is planned for next versions, and even integration with profile components like Kunena, K2, Community Builder, JomSocial etc.

I'm interested in purchasing the AJAX Register component.
Before I do I'm looking to see how 'serious' this feature request is being considered? Like, is it definitely going to be included in a future update?

I want to allow users to upload an image (a banner) upon registration. Once they register, and do this, I then plan to take that banner (I assume from the Joomla Backend) and manually add it to a banner exchange on my site.

Assuming all that is possible...and the feature is added.
