Extra Field "Link to an Article" doesn't show up

I'm trying to add a link to an article in the AJAX Register plugin. I can't get the link to show up in the profile, only in the Registration page. Is there any way to get the link to not show in the registration page but only in the profile?

There is no point in showing a link to an article in the profile. It's used to display terms of service which makes sense only on registration page. Or am I missing something?

Hi, I thought that this would be covered in updates by now? I see it isn't in 2.5.1. The reason I need to be able to show the link on both profile and registration pages is for pre-registered users.
