Customize admin message for approval & include 1 or more custom fields

I just purchased Ajax register and was able to get it working in only  a few minutes.    My question is how to modify the admin message that the new user has confirmed their email and include 1 or more custom fields.  The site I'm building wants a single piece of information included in the email so that it can be matched against a known list before approving the new user.

I've Googled everything I can on changing this and beyond the usual messages in the language INI files so far have been unable to get what I need.  Lots of info that it can be done, but no examples.

I am not a PHP programmer but can modify files if shown the way.

It's possible only by modifying the code. If you contact me on mail with admin password and FTP info I will help you with this.

Are we talking core Joomla changes or Ajex Register code?

Either way, example code works better for me.  My customer would not like me turning over administration of the site to someone else.

They have a nice editor and plugin to modify the emails and include custom fields from AJAX.

Works much better than modifying code.

BTW, love your product.  It's very easy to customize the registration process.
