Avatar picture

Dear developer team

Is it possible to have an additional field to upload a user image, something like an avatar? I know there is a custom field for files, but this just shows a link but not the actual image (and for the avatar there should also be ideally some image downscaling). Is such a feature possible or even under development? It would really add a lot of value to the component, which by the way is great!
