I've set my Ajax scroller to random, but for some reason, it's not actually presenting the banners in random order. Using J2.5.6, with AjaxScroller v. 2.3.6

It is in random order but because it's AJAX a specific order must be preserved. So you see one order and another user on some other machine and IP address sees another order.

If I switch off the AJAX toggle in the module, will that change the behaviour?
I get your explanation, but there needs to be genuine randomness for any user - ie., each time they reload a new page on the site, they need to be seeing a different banner, and not start back at their own (same) square 1 each time. How do I get proper randomness?

If you would switch AJAX off then it would be possible to randomize order on each refresh / item switch. But I'm not sure if that's the behavior right now, I could check and add it for next version.

Yeah, that's not working either.
Given that you do have a 'Random' option in the dropdown, but this is not available, how do I go about getting a refund for this product?

It is random, but not random as you think it should be. Contact me on email for refund.
