Enabling Ajax Register "Extra Fields" causes error in ContactEnhanced

I have Ajax Regster installed on two sites alongside ContactEnhanced (Joomla 3.1.5, Ajax Register 2.8.4, ContactEnhanced 3.0.10).  Clicking a link to a Contact in the list of contacts generated by ContactEnhanced led to the following error:

Error: 0 - JForm::getFieldAttribute `xml` is not an instance of SimpleXMLElement

I tracked down the conflict to Ajax Register - disabling the "User - Ajax Register" plugin caused the error to  go away. It seems that if an Extra Field is published AND it is Saved (to database) (the "Saved" option for the field is set to Yes), ContactEnhanced fails.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I am not familiar with that 3rd party component. It's best if you send me a mail with admin info and FTP and I will take a look.
