Hi, I've just set up the Ajax register component on Joomla 3.1.5.
I've set the menu item to use Ajax registration form but rather than going to the correct URL (i.e. alias in this case: associate-member-account) it defaults to: your-profile/profile.
I've tried it with URL rewriting switched off but the same result.
Any idea what could be causing this?
Cheers
John

I am not clear what you mean.
AJAX Register form is one thing, and user profile for logged in user is another.
Maybe you need to share your URL and access info so I can see what you mean so please send those by email.

Hi, site is:
mmo.sway-search.co.uk
The site is set up for subscriptions so a user initially registers via Akeeba Subscriptions and is given a user group (in this case 'member' or 'associate').
Once they've signed up they need to add additional information into their profile.
On the right of the site they will get a menu option that links through to the Ajax registration form (this is using the ajax registration menu item). The link you'll see is called 'member registration'. This should go through to /member-registration (the menu alias for displaying the fields for this user group). Instead they go straight to /your-profile/profile.
Hope that makes more sense. Do let me know if you need any further information.
Cheers

First of all the access info you sent is invalid, I can't login. You should always test the credentials before sending.
Then, I think you don't understand what AJAX Register does. It is a registration component. If users are already registered and logged-in they can not register again. Instead, of course they are redirected to their profile, because they are already logged-in. There they should be able to fill in additional details under "Additional Info".
