Hello Emir,
i have a following problem :
We need to have different user register to different groups, and each group need its own fields. with Ajax Register i was able to do this.
but the problem is as follow :
First i created all wanted conditional fields everything is OK.
lets say
field 1
field 2
field 3
field 4
field 5
field 6
field 7
field 8
field 9
then i created 4 forms with menu links and added fields needed over there.
lets say my first form will add user to joomla group "teacher" where on registration form i added only
field 1
field 2
field 3
field 4
field 5
on my second form, will add user to Joomla group "students" where on registration form i added only
field 1
field 2
field 3
field 4
field 5
field 7
field 8
field 9
everything is working fine, until i found that when student or teacher after logged in try to change his profile.
they see all the fields and not only which were in there registration form. that is big problem cause other required fields need to be filled and if they don't they cant modify their profile.
in other words when allowing users to update their profile from the front end, they only see the fields that were available in the form they registered with at the time of registration
please help if you need other information i will try my best to give you.
thanks in advance.

Yes, I know about the profiles. The only proper solution would be to implement ACL for each field and that's planned for next versions.

Thanks, actually we are doing this project and made choice of Ajax Register instead of ExtendedReg because we found that your background is really related to Joomla and also you are very reactive on forum to add new functions per demands,
we also asked to add integration between Ajax register and Imaqma Help desk which is almost done by Pedro @ www.imaqma.com/ and will be release next week i will let you know.
i understand that maintaining and developing new functions need lots of time and you are doing great work with that already
Please do your best and with your time for next release.
