Thumbs are not being created

Hi!

I installed Photo Album V1.5 with Legacy plug in enabled (Joomla 1.5.. I got a blank page after installation but I navigated to components and Photo Album was there working fine at back end but thumbs are not being created so just the main image show up.

Also I'm very concerned about set folders to 777. Is secure leave the folders that way?

I'd like to sugest the option to manage albums through the front end, I think it woud be nice.

It's not a problem setting a folder to 777 unless you have some other holes somewhere.
Can be different reasons why thumbs are not created, maybe you don't have the GD2 library installed.

GD2 is installed (bundled 2.0.34 compatible).

Do I have to set 777 any folder other than media folder?

What is your root folder? If it's default then you need to create a "media/albums/" directory and CHMOD it to 777.
