Can't add or edit albums

15 years 10 months ago #3701 by MATTYD
I seem to have the same problem as some of the other people on this site - don't seem to be able to find a solution.

I've run the sef advanced tester and it didn't indicate any errors

I've installed the Ajax photo album

and set the permissions for the folders to 755

Problem is I can't add, edit or delete albums as there are no buttons.

I'm running Joomla 1.5 (in legacy mode)

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Matt

You probably have a javascript error. It might be because of this: www.sakic.net/support/faq/ajax_photo_album/#2

Point your browser to www.yoursite.com/administrator/component...admin.scriptload.php

If you get an error then it's that problem. This file must have execution rights.

You haven't answered if you are able to access www.yoursite.com/administrator/component...admin.scriptload.php

If you can't get it to work send the admin password and FTP info om mail and I will take a look.

Yes. This file should be able to execute. So CHMOD it to 777 according to instructions found in: www.sakic.net/support/faq/ajax_photo_album/#2

If you can't figure it out send the admin pass and FTP info on mail.
