Website changes

17 years 10 months ago - 17 years 10 months ago #225 by Saka
In hope to make this site more useful, several changes have been made in the past few months. The content has been restructured, a support forum added, the old menu replaced, RSS feeds introduced, FAQ and contact page improved. Your input about how we can make the site even better and more intuitive is welcome: leave your 2¢ here.

The changes done:

- The site content has been restructured.
We split the main pages to several smaller ones that are now accessible via the submenu found to the right of the main content. Some unimportant content have been removed.

- Changed the logo!
The old Mambo logo has been replaced with a new, original one.

- The top menu has been changed.
The old top menu used images which were sometimes slow loaded and hard for maintenance. This has been replaced with purely javascript top menu which loads instantly while the look has been preserved.

- The support forum has been added.
The SMF forum has been added which has been nicely integrated into the site structure. The forum is intended to provide additional support to customers, pre-sale questions and other discussion.

- Added the RSS feed to our latest news.
This way you should be able to get timely informed about important updates to our products without having to visit the site.

- Frequently Asked Questions page has been extended and improved.
The FAQs are now divided to categories with better overview and accessibility to questions and answers.

- Contact page improved.
The contact page now supports sending both Email and instant SMS (Short Message System) to our mobile phone. The contact form is completely written using AJAX technology so the page will never have to reload and sending the message will be quick and easy.

We welcome your feedback about these website changes and suggestions for further improvements. Tell us what you think!
