In the documentation it says
"SEF Advance allows you to define a suffix for the end of your URL:
$sufix = "";
Instead of default trailing slash you can define a .html or something else."
Where do I do this?

You do it in administration panel (Components > SEF Advance > Configuration). Those instructions are for old versions of Mambo only.

Thanks for the quick response.
In configuration all I see is the section "URL look & feel" which I have .htm in the suffix box and in global settings "add suffix to Urls" is ticked as yes
All is good will be purchasing in next few days
