Can't get 301 redirects to work

Hi,

I am having a lot of trouble getting SEF Advance 301 redirects to work. Whatever I do I am just getting 404 errors when entering the old URLs in the browser address bar. My new URLs are relative, have a trailing / and are published.....but nothing happens.

Here is an example:

Site: www.ei-resource.org

Old URL: autism.asp
New URL: illness-information/environmental-illnesses/autism-spectrum-disorders/

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated  ???
