SEF 2008 and Broken Pages

Hey folks,
I've been using SEF Advance on Joomla 1.0 for a long time with no problems. I've recently upgraded my site to Joomla 1.5. I've installed SEF Advance 2008... but... when I click on a SEF link, I'm taken to the page (after a long long time), and the page's stylesheet is either broken or was never loaded.
Anybody have this experience?

I just realized the problem was due to loading my css files with relative paths.  :
