Just a quick question regarding suffix with sef advance. I have a page with HTML suffix turned on. This page uses numerical ids and looks something like:
section-path/my-page-123456.html
If I visit the page without the '.html' suffix it still works and it doesn't append the '.html' suffix.
Is there something I'm missing? Cheers

No, you are not missing anything. The URL works but all URLs generated are with .html so there will be no link without .html anywhere.

Ok, thanks. So that is a joomla thing. Only google has some of my old url indexed as
Www.domain.com/news
So users are taken to this and not with .html suffix.
Guess I'll have to set up some re-directs
Thanks

Yes, you will have to setup some redirects in this case. That's why the settings should not be changed after the site has been published and indexed by search engines.
