Configuration question

I have a problem with my site. With SEF Advance OFF I see a blog view of my news section, auto generated by the latest items in that section. This is the view I want it to see. With SEF Advance ON I see a manually build page created within the Section editor.

All aliases and redirects relating to this section have been deleted.

How do I configure it SEF Advance to go to the blog style page as generated by the menu item parameters; rather than go to the manual view created in the section.
