Using Joomla 1.x and Hot Property .98 (update forthcoming at a later date, but need to solve this now if possible)
Is it possible to remove or change the component name in SEF Advanced URL's? Specifically I am looking to remove/ change the Hot Property component name in the URL's.
For example, can I change:
http://mysite/hotproperty/property/area/property_name.html
to:
http://mysite/hp/property/area/property_name.html
OR (better yet):
http://mysite/property/area/property_name.html
Thanks in advance and cheers!

Yes, it is possible. Under Configuration > Strings look for "components with SEF extension". Enter hotproperty=>property there.
Click Help button on that page for more instructions.

No, you can't remove it completely, just change it.
