SEF Advance, Joomla 1.5.17 & Hotproperty

I know this is your favorite topic. . . but I just migrated from 1.0.11 to 1.5.17 and I noticed that the urls for hotproperty are misbehaving.

I'm using HP 1.0.1 and SEF Advance 2.3.0.

There is not a sef_ext.php in components/com_hotproperty/

The site is: www.wakulla.com

The menu link to HP is:
www.wakulla.com/buy-sell-in-wakulla/waku...real-estate-rentals/

When HP loads the links to the categories and properties are:
www.wakulla.com/component/hotproperty/1_coastal-real-estate/

1. Shouldn't the category links contain "buy-sell-in-wakulla/wakulla-real-estate-rentals/"

2. How do I get rid of the "component/hotproperty" in the links to the categories ?



I have configured Custom Component Strings with:
hotproperty=>wakulla_realestate

and it is not being incorporated into the URLs.

Without extension for SEF Advance it is using router.php and you just get the default Joomla SEF URLs that look like that.

So upload the sef_ext.php and then you will get the URLs without "component" and without IDs. Ask the author about the extension, the old one for 1.0 might work in legacy mode.

You should ask the author. If it's not available try the one from 1.0 version, it might work in legacy mode.
