Have you upgraded your ionCube loaders when you upgraded PHP? Because this is most likely your problem.

Correct, ionCube upgraded, old version was 3.1.x.

Working combination:
J1.5.21 + PHP5.3 + SA 2.3.7 + ionCube 3.3.17 + E_DEPRECATED off
