Virtuemart category link

Hi,
When i link to virtuemart categories using the joomla mainmenu module, categories links are all redirected to a same virtuemart category even if i use different virtuemart category id for each category link.
If i use the virtuemart menu module everything work normal.
i want to use only one category module including links to home page, posts, and virtuemart categories.
I tried to use external link option but it's not a good solution.
Please, any advice!

exemple
if i use the joomla menu module all links to virtuemart categories looks like: www.website.com/virtuemart and don't redirect to respective category

If i use the virtuemart category module all links are normal and redirect to respective category:www.website.com/virtuemart/category_name

You use extension for Virtuemart (sef_ext.php)?
