Duplicate Content with 2.4.8

First off, great tool.  SEF 2008 has eliminated 99% of the duplicate content issues I had - automatically.

The one issue that appeared recently is Google Webmaster Tools are some pages with duplicate title tags.  They must be showing up because of bad links to our site.  They are in the form:

www.sitname.com/section/category/xxx

where xxx is a number

The above link points to:

www.sitname.com/section/category/xxx/

Which is a blank page (does not really exist).  It also shows:

<link rel="canonical" href=" www.sitname.com/section/category/xxx/ " />

Those are probably interpreted as pagination links. You can setup 404 in .htaccess if it's important. Nothing can be done to automatically prevent it as pagination might or might not be there.

Yeah, that's too bad.  It sounds like I'd have to make a rewrite rule for every page on the site.  I've been chasing them down with a 301 for now...  I'll watch this tread if anyone else has run into the same problem.
