Specific format for urls

This is a pre-sales question.

I am rebuilding a site and, in general, need to match the style of their current urls.

For example. instead of joomla25.sakic.net/demo-section/ja-anions-typography/  
can I have
joomla25.sakic.net/ja-anions-typography

...that is, no category no sub-categories,and no trailing "/" in the url.

I assume, that the menu item name is not included in the SEF url, I don't want the menu item name included in the url, so that's okay.

Hello,

You can exclude categories from the URL, yes. The trailing slash can not be omitted. You can only replace it with an extension.
