I'm running a Joomla 2.5 site and want to pull in the configuration backup into a Joomla 3.X site. I go to Backup, I browse and select the file. I hit import and nothing happens. Any ideas?

I'm doing this on localhost, fresh install. Both Import and Export do not work.

Has anyone gotten this feature to actually work. I've tried a variety of set ups now as well as browsers and nothing seems to work.
It's over two weeks now without a response... anyone's help or insights are deeply appreciated.

Please hold, I am working on it.
Why is it so important anyway? You can quickly do the configuration again. Unless you have 1000's of aliases and redirects?

In case anyone reads this thread and wonders if it was resolved. Emir fixed this feature in version 1.6 back on October 28, 2014.
