URL question

I currently have my section URL's set up like this:

globalwarminglife.com/news_portal/news/science/
globalwarminglife.com/news_portal/features/editorials

etc.

I need to remove news_portal from the URL's - how can I do this? This is using the ijoomla news portal extension.

My content has the URL's how I need them:
globalwarminglife.com/features/editorial...a-dangerous-climate/

I need to have my sections in the same format. I use the news portal extension. When I type in globalwarminglife.com/news/science it gives me the default joomla stuff - but I need my content coming up in news portal. How would I do this? Thanks!

"news_portal" is a part of iJoomla component and can't be removed. You can only replace it by some other word.

The only way is to manually set an alias to do that.

How would I set an alias to do that?
