SEF advance doesn't create links automatically

Hi guys,
just a small question from a newbie who tries SEF Advance. I have installed SEF Advance on a testsite using Joomla 1.0.12. Also I have updated the .htaccess with the file within the pakage. SEF seems to work, it creates user friendly urls but I can't see the list of created links in administrator menu. When I go to "Alias & Meta" there is no entry. Do I have to create all links manually?
Before I used OpenSEF which creates the links automatically and I thought SEF Advance will do the same.

SEF Advance doesn't create any links in database. It translates the URLs on-the-fly. This is why it shows performance advantage aver database solutions.

The aliases, if needed, need to be entered manually.
