Are licenses linked to e-mail?

I've purchased three licenses for SEF Advance. I recently needed to redownload one of them. I believe I used the same e-mail address for each purchase. Not sure though. Will that file that I downloaded work on all of the site that I previously bought licenses for?

If purchased with the same PayPal email the same copy will work for all sites.
