VERY frustrating problem with SEF Advance!

I am running Joomla 1.0.12 and Hot Property 0.98

Most of my URL's are being translated properly.

However, the FIRST menu item (same content as www.sitename.com ) refuses to work with SEF advance and shows pre Joomla Core value (i.e. index.php?option=com_hotproperty&task=asearch&Item%20id=27&search_id=19211)

Even alias won't change it... in fact alias does not work at all when I try it!!!!

Also anything with advsearchr (dynamic search results) doesn't translate from Core SEF to SEF Advance (even with alias from original URL)!

Many thanks... I try for WEEKS to sort this problem out with NO success!!!

I should also add this does not work in Core SEF either.... and its the ONLY URL that doesn't change from the original.. everything else works

Except Alias... which in SEF Advance is not working for me... Joomla ignores any changes I try and make in here!

OK solved (partially) by leaving out the www.site.com in the field...

However I cannot seem to get alias to work no matter what I do!

Any tips on troublehooting alias?

When using alias you must turn off SEF for the whole site and copy THE EXACT non-sef URL. It has to be in form:
index.php?option=...
No leading slash or anything like that.

Then it should work.
