"You need to login" error as soon as new htaccess is installed.

Hi.

I installed the newest trial version of SEF Advance on my Joomla 1.0.13 site that also has jreviews installed.

The seo links work great but there is one big problem. I cannot login to the backend administration panel of the site. I get a "You need to login" error.

As soon as I change back to my old htaccess file I can login to the backend but the SEF links give a 404 error.

Never heard of that error. Can you post the htaccess that causes the problem?

I got it figured out.

I hadn't put the php line from my old htaccess file into the new one that comes with SEF Advance.
