[RESOLVED] Front End Login Won't Work

Just installed SEF Advance (latest version) and front end login won't work. I have the supplied htaccess in place.
When I turn off SEO from site global settings, front end login works again.
What should I do?
UPDATE:
Was running new Joomla site right next to an html site just prior to switchover. The login was being referred to the index.html page. Renaming index.html (and activating index.php as the "entry page") enabled the login process to complete.
