I was considering upgrading DOCman 1.3 RC2 to the new 1.4 RC1, but didn't want to if the sef_ext.php for the old one doesn't work. Has anyone tested this? Thanks!

I installed in on a test site and it appears to work fine. I did have to remove the .httaccess Docman places inside it's default download directory though.

it doesn't work with RC3 ... 
every link I have it's been rewrited as /docman

I'm having the same issue with RC3. It will allow you to get to /docman/, but the categories do not change.
Is there an updated sef_ext.php available?
