Change special character in url

It's possibile to change ":" into "-" in the url ?

Example

Milan : new year party become in url Milan-new-year-party

You can't change : to - if you use - as word separator.
You can use alias to achieve that though.

Yes, i have tryed some change but the best solution is to set short url in configuration and use alias without punctuation marks
