We would like to use SEF Advance to manage friendly urls for the new version of our website made with Joomla. This Joomla part of the website will be linked with a VBulletin forum (with the JVB plug-in). So, Joomla and VB are using the same database. We also have friendly url in VB with the VBSEO plug-in.
Is SEF Advance able to work with this configuration ?
In Joomla, for some contents, we are also using the JReviews component. For the moment this component is not compatible with SEF Advance. Could we have problems with SEV Advance and the JReviews pages ? Is there a way to configure SEF advanced to not rewrite urls of a specific component ? Is in the future JReviews becoming compatible with SEF Advanced, will we have a way to use new SEF url and to redirect the old one, to keep the google and other search engine link of this pages ?
We really need to keep our link avalaible in search engine during a long time (many years). Could we keep our url with Joomla 1.5 when it will be a final release ?
Thanks for your help,
Best regards,

I can't see a reason why it shouldn't work but best to download the free trial of SEF Advance and test.We would like to use SEF Advance to manage friendly urls for the new version of our website made with Joomla. It's best to just use the built-in SEF. Once you have the extension for SEF Advance old links will be automatically redirected. Is in the future JReviews becoming compatible with SEF Advanced, will we have a way to use new SEF url and to redirect the old one, to keep the google and other search engine link of this pages ?
I can not say anything about Joomla! 1.5 or any other future version right now. SEF Advance is for Joomla! 1.0 series and only that platform will be supported.Could we keep our url with Joomla 1.5 when it will be a final release ?
Joomla! 1.5 has totally different structure and SEF Advance for it will likely be completely new product, not an upgrade.
