Hi Emir,

Something i dont realy understand....
Yes i read : www.sakic.net/products/sef_advance/documentation/
but isnt clear enough to me...
so please explain as best as you can....

Thing is,i upgraded joomla 1.1.4 to 1.5.2.
Before the enviroment of categories etc was different...
So when converted things looked different..
But with older joomla i also used other SEF(artio)
I tried the so called 1.5 version but that only trashed the place.

so i bought yours.
You said some urls could be different,so i knew that.
But situation is this:

My urls in google ...

first it was:

www.mysite.com/information/guitar.html

now its:

www.mysite.com/audio/information/guitar.html

So you see...
That will be a disapointment to people as they will get the custom 404 every time.

Ok , so step 1: how do i alter whatever url so its back to how it was ?
I tried the redirect function but that didnt do what i wanted when i tried it.
I dont mind doing things by hand , i wasnt born lazy.

So perhaps a good step to step by you Emir or anyone else who doesnt mind explaining it ?
Thanks for your time...

Yes I said some URLs might be different and I think I specifically mentioned URLs with skipped section part.
With SEF Advance you can't skip section or category part in URL so you will always have section/category/item, you can't have section/item or category/item. It's for performance reasons and the way it functions internally.

So the only thing you can do is to define manual redirect to each link like this. You could also try with some smart mod_rewrite rules (don't ask me to help with this). :)
