Section Title Name occurs double

Hi Folks,

thanx for the great tool. Almost everything is working fine, so far.
One thing i can not figure out, what it makes happen:
I created a new sub-menu in "table content category view" for a particular section and after saving and publishing - the category is shown in "list view" ??? and also has a wrong title name (the title is the same  i already have given to complete different section)
- trash is empty
- long urls=yes
- lower case=no

i would appreciate your help

This is for SEF Advance 2008 on Joomla! 1.5, right?

Turn on debug and see which Itemid it returns, as compared to the Itemid when SEF is off in global configuration, cause this is probably an Itemid issue.

Also turn off cache in SEF Advance, if you had it on.

sorry i forgot to tell..it´s sef advance for Joomla! 1.0.15 Stable. But i try the things you suggestet, to figure out if it´s a conflict with the item id´s.

The item-id i got, when seo switched off in globals:

the short-url which is generated, by sef on:
www.comedynetwork.de/lustige/coole-sprueche/

Both Joomla and sef advance Cache is turned off now.

Do you have an idea, what to do?

As you can see SEF Advance doesn't return any Itemid. So it is indeed Itemid issue and now you should try to find out why is that so. Have a look on this FAQ if that can help you finding out why it's not returned: www.sakic.net/support/faq/sef_advance/#18

If you still can't figure it out send me a mail with the access info and I will take a look.

The problem is that you have string "lustige" as replacement for "blogcategory".

The word "lustige" is also a name of one of your sections. You can't have the both, so either change the name of your section or the replacement for blogcategory.
