disable category name from URL

is it possible to disable the cat name in the URL? example:
domain.com/main/category/content_item_name.html
to
domain.com/content_item_name.html
I used to be able to do this with 404SEF.. was curious if SEFadvance had this option too.

format is reserved to static content (items that don't belong to any section/category). Enabling the same format for categorized pages would put excessive load to database.
You can use manual alias feature to achieve that though.

where are the aliases stored? in mysql? I have 2200 urls to do, so I couldn't do it by hand, but could easily script it if I knew where it lives.
