can sef advance2008 Redirect match an entire directory?

in the redirects section of sef advance 2008, i type a source url and a target url.
can the source and target be directories, and everything in those paths be redirected as well?

No, every URL must be defined separately.
To get what you want you should use mod_rewrite rules in .htaccess.
