possible mod_rewrite issue?

16 years 3 months ago #2746 by toffs
Hi

We can see from our log stats on visited urls we have attach on the end of the url adress the following tags  /'+uri+'/

Our server hosting company thinks its something to do with a kind of URL rewriting scheme - a possible mod_rewrite issue.

This started to appear at a similar time I upgraded to version 5.0 of Sef advance - we are using Joomla 1.0.15

Today I upgraded the Sef advance to 5.2

Do you know whats causing this - it is taking up all our CPU capacity on the server

Thanks...

Correction to original post

the correct version of Sef Advance is 5.6.2 - I have installed now

The problem seemed to appear when loading up 5.6.0

This has brought our server to a stand still and we have had to disable the SEF advance - no support provided on this issue

Hi

This is what we have been seeing in our log files

/fashion/fashion-designers/armani-exchange/'+uri+'/'+uri+'/'+uri+'/'+uri+'/'+uri+'/'+uri+'/'+uri+'/'
+uri+'/'+uri+'/'+uri+'/'+ur

on many of our pages -

Which log files?

And I don't see any reason why it should have to do anything with SEF Advance.
