Disable alias on a component basis?

Is it possible to disable the alias feature on a component by component basis?
If not can I make a feature request?
The reason I ask is that I'm working hard to reduce the number of queries in one of my sites and am seeing lots of these queries:
If I know that I've not created any aliases for that component's pages, it would be great to disable the alias feature and save myself all of those queries.
