Blogcategory - can not change parameters

I have sef_advance 5.7 and joomla 1.0.15
if i have sef_advance on, the parameters of the menuitem Blog content category are different and not changeable (can change them but nothing happens on the page)
If i switch sef_advance off, it works like it should - 1 column, date, heading,...
