i've found the problem, i think.
The problem appears when i translate (with joomfish) the content static item title.
Ok... i can translate menu item, and have domain.com/en/gatti-persiani.html but my title page still appear as "Site Name - Gatti Persiani".
My question is... is it possible to traslate content item title and have SEF URLS working?
This is an important issue thinking at SEO improvements.
thanks again

Also don't add it as URL link to menu, add only one, italian version, as Link - Static Content.

Yes you should be able to translate the menu item with joomfish and still get the working link:
domain.com/en/gatti-persiani.html
If you can't get it working send me the admin and FTP details and I will take a look, there might be a bug.
domain.com/en/gatti-persiani.html

no no Emir... i can translate correctly the menu item.
No i get
domain.com/en/gatti-persiani.html
The problem is that the i can't translate the page <Title>.
Italian
domain.com/it/gatti-persiani.html
Title: Gatti Persiani
English
domain.com/en/gatti-persiani.html
Title: Gatti Persiani
Every two work, but i have this SEO problem.
I should like to have "Persian Cats" for english pages... but i think it's not possible at the momenti. Is it wright? Do you think to add this feature in the next releases?

Hello,
I have checked this and it does change the page title for me.
When the default language is active the title is changed to static content title. When alternative language is active the title is changed to the translation of the static content title.
So make sure you have translated the content title, it might be that you missed to do just that assuming that it will change to translated menu name instead.

Does this problem also apply to other components?
I'm using mosets tree. I adjusted the mtree so that the directory categories
can be translated.
I know that it is not possible to show a translated version of the component string in the url-path.
unfortunately the translated mtree-directory-names don't show up in the url-path.
I wonder if this is an mtree problem or if the same issue dicussed in this thread applies here?
