links work and administration shows errors - very strange

with SEF Advance on my site there is something strange going on:

summary of the problem:
URLs are SEF
and
administration shows:
Site error: the file /home/XXXXX/public_html/administrator/components/com_sef/admin.sef.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so to be installed by the site administrator.


in detail:
installed demo version.
copied .htaccess

downloaded ioncube + changed php.ini:
zend_extension=/home/XXXX/my-ioncube/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so
zend_extension_ts=/home/XXXX/my-ioncube/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.4_ts.so

check: .so is OK:

What is wrong here?
The URLs change from "Joomla style" to SEF versions and
Components --> SEF advance gives me the error:
Site error: the file /home/XXXXX/public_html/administrator/components/com_sef/admin.sef.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so to be installed by the site administrator.

Any suggestions?

The ionCube loader is not correctly installed. Please read our ionCube installation guide: www.sakic.net/support/ioncube/

sef_advance_tester.php output is green and administration still shows:

Site error: the file /home/tzenkero/public_html/administrator/components/com_sef/admin.sef.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so to be installed by the site administrator.

If some of the results are not green please follow the instructions and run this script again.

ionCube Loader
Status: Installed: version 3.1.33
Instructions: No additional configuration required.

Server Software
Status: Apache/2.2.9 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635
Instructions: You must run Apache web server. SEF Advance doesn't support IIS.


Any idea or hint?

An ionCube Loader file is required by PHP to read files encoded with the ionCube Encoder. This page will determine how you can install Loaders on this particular server.

An ionCube encoded file has been loaded successfully.
Encoded files should now function correctly.



Still there is the SEF advance error from above.
