Please pardon my ignorance. Is SEF Advance 2008 similar to the Joomlatwork SE0 patch?

I am using the Joomlatwork SE0 patch and for Joomla and all my components, accept for AlphaContent, it works. I don't understand why the urls are different in AlphaContent.

AlphaContent Latest version:4.0.17  and Advanced SEF 2008  Version 2.4.4 on joomla 1.5.22

When Advanced SEF 2008 is enabled and i click on menu FQA + FAQ at the bottom  I can't get AlphaContent  to work get a 404 Page

Even when I add AlphaContent into  Ignored components list on SEF still won't work

If I disable Advanced SEF 2008  and just use joomla's sef works fine .
