DOCMAN 1.4 RC3 with sef_ext for Sef Advance - problem with task search

I have this problem using sef_ext with Docman 1.4 RC3. When using the task search form  it redirects to downloads home. I just turn off sef and the Docman search form works correctly.
(I'm using joomla 1.015 and sef advance 5.8.1) Any advice??  ???

Read the readme file that comes with the extension for Docman:

IMPORTANT NOTE:

It is not supported and there are no guarantees it will work for future versions of Docman.

I may update it for latest Docman when I got time.
