Creating urls -- problem

Hello everybody!

I have a problem, but I'm not able to solve by myself. In a web page I can decide to change the number of the articles but when I change that number, the sef advance url will be changed and this is not a good thing for google search engine.

I mean:

the url page is www .site.com/articles/6/6

and that number is the number of articles shown (I mean the number of quantity of articles shown).

I'd like to have a url with only the number of the page like www .site.com/articles/1 for the first page and www .site.com/articles/2 for the second page

Something has to tell Joomla to change number of displayed articles. And that information is contained in the URL.

It doesn't necessarily mean the search engine would treat this as duplicate content, the page is different after all.

What you can do is to disable user-changed number of pages in Joomla! so the visitors are always presented with a constant number of articles per page.

I'm the administrator and I'd like to change the url of a page independently the quantity of the posts.

I'd like to have the same url independently the number of the posts.
