Currency, Vodes and Decreasing.

I have been learning Joomla, and i installed the vodes. Everything works perfectly!
Although, reading some posts here of concerns I do have, no one really leaves "specific" answers for newbies.
I was hoping someone could help me with specifics for the following:
Changing the currency symbol. (what file??)
Allow 5 vodes in member accounts at sign-up.
And where does the "spending" codes go to decrease the vodes?
I have read previous posts, if they helped I wouldn't be posting this now. lol
Any help would be appreciated. Love this extension!!
