Great URLs
Instead of built-in SEF URLs for Joomla! 1.7 which look like:
http://www.site.com/menu-title/submenu-title/25-koala
you will get URLs without numbers, using more logical structure, independent of the look of your menu:
http://www.site.com/photo-gallery/animals/koala/
The URLs will follow your content structure rather than the menu structure and will always look like http://www.site.com/category/subcategory/article/, supporting infinite category levels.
No duplicate content
SEF Advance 2011 will also eliminate duplicate content problems. As you might know, by default, Joomla! 1.7 can have different URLs for one page, depending on the state of your menu. For example, http://www.site.com/using-joomla/extensions/components/content-component/article-category-list/21-getting-help and http://www.site.com/using-joomla/getting-help both lead to the same page. This will make search engines consider them different pages with duplicate content, something penalized by decreased page rank.
Using SEF Advance 2011, you will always have the same URL for each page, in this case: http://www.site.com/sample-data-articles/joomla/getting-help/
Install it and forget it
SEF Advance 2011 will automatically convert all URLs of your Joomla! 1.7 site to new, advanced URLs in the same moment as you install it. You don't have to do anything else like clicking the links or opening pages.
It will also redirect all requests to old-style SEF and non-SEF URLs to corresponding advanced ones.
For example, a request for http://www.site.com/using-joomla/extensions/components/content-component/article-category-list/8-beginners and request for http://www.site.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=8:beginners&catid=19&Itemid=260 will both be redirected to http://www.site.com/sample-data-articles/joomla/beginners/ returning the correct header to browser and search engines.

All other features present in SEF Advance 2008 for Joomla! 1.5, like various options for customizing your URLs, URL alias, custom metadata and custom redirects, are also available in SEF Advance 2011 for Joomla! 1.7.
In addition, adding custom aliases and redirects have been simplified. You can do it by a simple click from your 404 Log of the non-found URLs.

Also, SEF Advance 2011 supports one-click-updates feature. You can now update it to the latest version by a simple click from your Joomla administration.

Since the first release of SEF Advance, in November 2003, we have been providing free updates to our customers for all long-term-support versions of Joomla. Our Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 customers have been able to download SEF Advance for almost 4 years at no additional cost during that time.
Joomla! 1.7, however, brings major changes in the platform compared to 1.5 version. SEF Advance is a component that deals with the core and its internal way of working in high degree. Making it compatible with Joomla! 1.7 meant a big job of almost writing it all over again. Therefore, this new product is now launched as SEF Advance 2011 for Joomla! 1.7, offered separately from SEF Advance for Joomla! 1.5, and not as a free upgrade.
If you are a current user of SEF Advance for Joomla! 1.5 and wish to migrate your site to Joomla! 1.7, you will need a new license for SEF Advance 2011. However, we offer a big, 30% discount for all existing customers of SEF Advance 2008!. The price will be updated as you enter the domain name of your registered site during the purchase process. You will also get to keep the license for SEF Advance for Joomla! 1.5 too!
Of course, buying SEF Advance 2011 entitles you to support and free upgrades for this product and platform, with bug fixes and new features, as they become available. Since 1.7 is not a long-term-support version, it's likely that this will include support for next short-term-support versions and the next LTS release: Joomla! 2.5.
What about SEF Advance for Joomla! 1.5?
